Society for Agriculture, Allied Sciences and Technology (SAAST) was founded and established in the year 2023 with an aim and objective of exchanging ideas, concepts, and knowledge regarding the application of technology to enhance the output of agricultural sustainability. SAAST is also dedicated for the advancement in education, research and development, technology dissemination, and awareness programs in the domains of agriculture and allied sectors for the benefit of farmers, students, and other stakeholders. SAAST primarily covers the department of Agronomy, Horticulture, Entomology, Plant Pathology, Plant Breeding & Genetics, Crop Physiology and Biochemistry, Soil Science and Agricultural Chemistry, Agriculture Engineering, Agri. Stat & Economics, Forestry, Animal Husbandry & Dairy Technology, Veterinary Sciences, Fisheries and Social Sciences etc.
AIM
1. To enable the exchange and interchange of ideas, information and views on the secure sustainable use of technology in the sustainable agricultural production.
2.To promote and support development of agriculture and allied sectors such as Horticulture, forestry, aquaculture, Veterinary, Animal Sciences and the rural development
3.To encourage and promote the sustainable agricultural practices.
4.To make the general public and consumers aware of agriculture and rural concerns
5.To encourage Agricultural Societies to carry out development and extension work in rural agricultural community.
Objective
1. The objective of this organization is to show-case the sustainable development in the emerging areas of agriculture, allied, applied sciences and outcomes will go some way to make this planet cleaner-greener.
SAAST is mainly engaged in the promotion of research in the field of Agricultural, Allied and Applied Science for the development of wellbeing of farming community.
SAAST is organizing webinars, workshops and training program, symposium on different burning and challenging issues related to Agriculture, allied and applied sectors at the National and International level.
2. To support the Government, Semi-government and non-government organization working in the field of Agriculture and allied sectors.
3.To support the research and education in the field of Agriculture, allied sectors, Environment and farmers welfare for the sustainable agricultural development.
4.In order to organize workshops, conferences, seminars and symposia to discuss specific problems of a Region/State by bringing together the members of the SAAST, it was decided to promote the establishment of SAAST chapters on regional basis.
5.To strengthen the Society by promoting programmes of professional interest.
6.To facilitate larger participation of the members in professional activities and ensure continuity in membership. Co-operating with other society, organization and institutions having similar objectives for Holding conferences, seminars, symposia for the discussion of these subjects; Organising lectures and courses.
7.To facilitate to publish journal, magazine and newsletter for the betterment of student and farming community. To prepare special study reports related to Agricultural and allied sciences as applicable to a particular region or a particular issue
8.To disseminate information about Agricultural Training programmes and provide employment opportunity to rural youth..

Our organization has pioneered a family approach to the long-term betterment of Farming community and Rural Development. Enhancing incomes of smallholders through access to markets and technologies. To alleviate farmer poverty by providing access to knowledge gaps and technical innovations for abundant harvests and increased income through opening market access. To ensure that communities remain resilient through proper provision and maintenance of natural resources to support agriculture and community living conditions
